Character information

Character Name: Rngesus

Armory link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Ravencrest&cn=Rngesus

Primary Talent Spec: Elemental
Secondary Talent Spec (If any): N/a at the moment, I'm planning on having Enchancement as my secondary. Although if it would be desired I could make Enhancement my main specc instead.

Do you have any alts you would like to join the guild? Please mention if you would like to raid on more than one character.

I have a second account with 3x 80s and some other characters, although I am probably not gonna refill my game time on it. I do however plan on making a few alts since I currently have recruit a friend enabled on my account. I would eventually raid with any of my alts, but only time will tell, since at the moment I only have the shaman on my active account.

Personal information

Age: 19 (1991)
Nationality: Swedish (parents from Bangladesh and Russia)
Your Time Zone: CET / GMT +1/ "server time"

When are you usually online? Workdays: 18:00 - 00:00, weekends is varied but I can be online from 16:00 to 04:00 if needed.
We raid from 7:00-10:00PM (server time) on Wednesday/Thursday and Sunday nights (some nights might run a bit later). Does that fit your schedule? Yes it does.

Your PC/internet

Is your connection stable? Yes. I have a 100/10 mbit/s fibre connection.

Do you have "Ventrilo" and a working microphone and are willing to speak? (Cataclysm will have a lot of boss fights where communication seems to be the key) Yes, yes and yes.

Do you use a Blizzard Authenticator? No.

About you and raid experience

What add-ons do you currently use for raids? Since I've just rerolled from a small break I've had a fresh WoW install so I am not sure which addons I will be getting. However my previous UIs have always been heavy with addons and I will probably build on something with time. For now I will start off with DBM, Omen, some kind of raid frame and unit frame addon, omni CC. My current priority is getting to 80 before Cataclysm, and after it's release addons will have changed. But you've seen my core (although I have had a lot more addons than I can remember the names of) and I will supplement it in time.

What is your raid experience including all Vanilla, BC & WotLK raids. Name the class and spec you played for each one if different to your current Main character.

Vanilla (Fury Warrior/semi OT, Holy/Ret Paladin):

4/4 Emerald Dragons
1/1 Azuregos
1/1 Onyxia
Full Zul'Gurub
Full Molten Core
Full Blackwing Lair
Full Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj
75% of Temple of Ahn'Qiraj
10% of Naxxramas

TBC (Combat Rogue):

Full Magtheridon's Lair
Full Gruul's Lair
Full Tempest Keep: The Eye
Full Serpentshrine Cavern
Full Zul'Aman
Full Karazhan
Full Mount Hyjal
Full Black Temple
15% of Sunwell Plateau

WotLK (Assassination Rogue - quitted and sold my account, later started again with a new rogue during TotGC/ICC time, so some older achievements aren't there on my new rogue):

Full Sartharion 3d 10/25
Full Naxxramas 10/25
Full Malygos 10/25
Full Vault of Archavon 10/25
Full Ulduar 10/25 Normal, Ulduar 10 man HM achievements for epic flying mount, around 50% of the HM achievements in 25 man
Full ToTC + ToTGC 10/25
11/12 ICC HC 10/25

WotLK (MM Hunter - rerolled hunter after a while on my rogue, gearing up quickly through pugs and managed to join a very good horde PvE guild even though my gear was sub par, left the guild shortly due to dispute with some members although my status towards the majority was friendly)

11/12 ICC HC 10/25

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving them?
I've been in many guilds during my time in WoW, I'll just briefly mention the most important ones. If you want more information I'll of course provide it.

Unity @ Jaedenar (Alliance, Vanilla) - Top ally PvE guild, raided there with my warrior. Left due to decision to reroll with my friends in TBC.
Embittered @ Ahn'Qiraj (Alliance, TBC) - Medium ally PvE guild, raided BT there with my rogue. Left due to taking a break in WoW.
Dimension @ Jaedenar (Alliance, WotLK) - Medium ally PvE guild, was made with some members from Unity after Unity disbanded, raided ICC/ToTGC there with my second rogue. Left due to guild was falling apart, having slack members, summer time meant there were people on vacation and we had to bring in social guild members into our raids.
Double Helix @ Ahn'Qiraj (Horde, WotLK) - Medium/Top horde PvE guild, was previously top guild on AQ but they disbanded and started again during the time I levelled my hunter, managed to join the guild due to my experience as rogue. Left due to dispute with certain members.

About you and your view on you class and World of Warcraft

Why did you choose your class/spec? I wanted to test something different than what I've played in recent time, although I don't like the healing aspect I picked the class since it has two different DPS roles. My current elemental specc is for levelling and things will obviously change when I level 80/85 depending on what role I am assigned.

What is your view on progress raids? I find them necessary and they can be most satisfying as long as all members do their best and try their hardest. I can find it frustrating if there is constantly some people who haven't improved over a period of time however, be it not reading to tactics or plainly just not being good at a certain encounter. During progress raids it's especially important to keep morale up, since everyone is giving their best, if there are few who are instead not doing so, it can easily break the morale and concentration.

What is your view on farm raids in periods where there is nothing to progress on? Although repetitive they can be fun since they usually give you some room to slack, as long as it doesn't affect the raid or encounter negatively. You can joke around and chat a bit on ventrilo and there can also be moments to gear up an alt or something similar. Farm raids tends to be fast aswell, giving you time to do other stuff if raid ends early.

What do you think about raid related achievements? If they give some special reward (like a cool flying mount) I would want them done as soon as possible, as for achievements that serve no purpose, I give no care to them. Should some other members want to do a certain achievement I wouldn't say no though.

The Free Area

Anything important that you want to add? Write it hereā€¦.

As you've already noticed I'm not applying with a level 80 character, however I ask that you consider my previous WoW history since I'm quite experienced. I will make sure to get to 80 prior to Cataclysm so that I can level and gear up together with you once the expansion launches.

Here are the armories of my characters on my previous account:

Very nice application. You seem to be leveling pretty quickly so I don't have any worries in you getting to 80 before 7 December. One thing I would recommend is spending some time now leveling your professions as you will find it easier to level them as you quest.
