I would like to let my Shaman Resto / Elemental ivlvl 350 and my Paladin Retri (unsure of his ilvl atm), but only for the perk bonuses as their nice when I play my alts.

I can use both during a raid, but only if that is the guilds wish, in case we're missing a healer etc, but normally I no longer play them

When are you usually online? I play casually so it varies slightly
We raid from 19:30-23:30PM (server time) on Wednesday/Thursday and Sunday nights. Does that fit your schedule?
I will always log for raids, unless there is a RL emergency such as my wife giving birth etc

Your PC/internet Playing on an Alienware M17Xr2 Laptop, with quadcore, 8GB ram, two ati 5870 cards in crossfire, and I use a fiber 25/25 cable connection

Is your connection stable? I do experience the occasional"service down" problem as one normally does from time to time with their ISP, but they are quite rare, and usually are fixable by just restarting the router.

Do you have "Ventrilo" and a working microphone and are willing to speak? (Cataclysm will have a lot of boss fights where communication seems to be the key)
I got VT, Teamspeak, Skype and more, and my micophone works like a charm

About you and raid experience
I've been raiding since vanilla beta, and have pretty much done all raid instances 40 / 25 / 10 man since that time, with the exception of Cataclysm where I raided with my shaman, and have down a few bosses in each raid instance, but not all

What add-ons do you currently use for raids?
Recount - to check which areas I can improve my damage
Deadly Boss Mods - for raid warnings when I'm concentrating to much on other things, its nice with a heads up.. move your ass warning

What is your raid experience including all Vanilla, BC, WotLK and Cataclysm raids. Name the class and spec you played for each one if different to your current Main character.
All vanilla raids cleared with my first char - Ethemos (Retri)
All BC raids cleared with various chars - Ethemos (Retri) - Chaoswave (Enhancement / Resto) and one retired char on another server I can't rememer the name of atm
All WotLK raids with Ethemos (retri / Holy) / Chaoswave (Enhancement / Resto(
Cataclysm, 3-4 bosses to my recollection with my shaman Chaoswave, as resto or elemental
Currently playing my new main Kuroikaze, Hunter (Survival / Marksman)

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving them?
Onix - Through the entire Vanilla package, they disbanded at the end of vanilla before tbc
TBC - I actually forgot the name of that guild, they disbanded at the end of vanilla
WotLK - Grey Dye, they disbanded at the end of WotLK (well not completely, but they only had 2-3 members let and never recovered)
Cataclysm - The Prestige, they had a lot of internal trouble and quarreling, so the GM made a new guild which I don't remember which I joined, but after failing to build a proper new guild, they disbanded.
Since then I've just been in a leveling guild, while gearing up my hunter, lvl 25 leveling guilds helps a lot when grinding, leveling tradeskills etc, but now my hunter is maxed in gear and can't improve without raiding.


About you and your view on you class and World of Warcraft
I love my class as I've played so much melee, ranged dps to me is a breeze. Easier to focus playing with.. don't need to move every 2 seconds due to some nasty melee crushing debuffs or AoEs, and they have very steady dmg due to the whole.. running a lot less part

World of Warcraft to me is just another way to entertain my self rather than watching tv etc.

Why did you choose your class/spec?
I chose the hunter because I found it to be the most versatile ranged dps, and my specs are just based on giving maximal damage output, so I switch to any spec which yields the most dps.

What is your view on progress raids?
Progress is very important to a raiding guild as if they do not progress, people loose interest and switch guilds. And who can't say that they enjoy mastering new hard encounters, beating the once unbeatable challenges, we all strive both ingame and irl to overcome challenges, so progress is nice

What is your view on farm raids in periods where there is nothing to progress on?
Farming raids is extremely important as we can gear up people which needs it, we can recruit new members which know their class very well, but don't have the gear to raid, and simply gear them up to have more great players joining our guild.

What do you think about raid related achievements?
I usually only focus on raid related achievements when we have already mastered the encounter we're hoping to get an achievement for. But usually by the time we have mastered the encounter, we usually already got the achi anyway without even trying.

Not much, but I can add some personal info:

I've pretty much been a guild leader / raid leader / officer since I started playing WoW. I've been lucky enough to have been in the server best guild in both vanilla and TBC for my own server, but now with a 2.5 year old son, and my second son which should have been born today (so anytime in the next couple of weeks) I can't raid hardcore anymore, nor do I wish to have any administrative duties in a guild anymore, such as officer, / raid leader etc.

While most people enjoy guild "power" and rank, it's a lot of work or at least its supposed to be a lot of work if your a good officer / leader, and right now and for a long time to come, I just wanna be a regular raider, having fun and nothing else.
